Sapatos Point derived its name from “Sapatos” that means shoe for the rock formation looks like one. Best seen when it is low tide, the rock formation shows its true form. The heel of the rock forms a cave one can pass through. During high tide, the heels are submerged in water that can be accessible through a kayak. There is an old lighthouse near the rock formation that offers a bird’s eye view of the shore and the beach and the vegetation around it.

Mablaran Falls
Attraction
7.29 km away

Mablaran Falls is probably the favorite summer destination of people in Tablas Island. Entering the Mablaran Falls, there is a huge pool that was built to hold the freezing water just like a reservoir. The water comes naturally from the mountains in the Calsanag area. Beneath the 15 feet waterfall, the river runs 4 to 5 yards deep and there are shallow areas embedded with smooth rocks. The rocks surrounding the river are low enough and some locals are using them as diving platforms. The local government also added cottages and tables for picnics of families and friends.
